htc one x review!

Image
HTC has had a pretty mixed history of late. Its handset portfolio has ranged from terrible to world beating, and everything in between. I’m probably not the only one who thinks that since the days of the Desire and Nexus 1 (made in conjunction with Google) it’s been mostly downhill. Handsets by the Taiwanese company took on virtually indistinguishable form factors, in various sizes. Sensation XL Whopper with Cheese anyone? When the company announced that it would be focussing on fewer handsets and making sure they were quality ones, no one was more excited than me. Especially when the One series was officially unveiled back in February. “Finally, they get it!” .  Form Factor/Hardware The One X was unveiled as the champion flagship model, and quite rightly too, it boasts an impressive spec sheet. The first thing you’ll notice is the 4.7-inches of Super LCD awesomeness, packed with 312 pixels in every inch and a resolution of 720 x 1280. The IPS panel means that you can see...

HTC EVO V 4G, HTC EVO Design 4G Destined For Virgin, Boost Mobile

Boost and Virgin Mobile customers have two handsets to look forward to next week, with both of Sprint’s prepaid brands tipped to launch high end devices from HTC. As Pocketnow first reported, a version of the EVO 3D known as the EVO V 4G is prepared to hit Virgin, while Boost will get the EVO Design 4G (name supposedly intact). Pairing a 3D glasses-free screen, 5 megapixel camera, qHD screen and a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, the EVO V 4G can still hold its own against many Android handsets on the market. As for the HTC EVO Design 4G , it sports a 1.2GHz processor and 768MB of RAM, 4″ 960 x 540 qHD ...

virgin mobile and boost mobile getting 4g speed

After a few days of rumors and plausible speculation, the news has been confirmed by Sprint CEO Dan Hesse himself: Sprint  Prepaid  will be offering WiMax as of this Summer with the forthcoming availability of the EVO Design 4G on Boost Mobile and the recently discontinued HTC EVO 3D to be released on  Virgin  Mobile . To add to the good news, the monthly rates for each respective service will remain as they are with the current throttling rates for  smartphones  being kept in place. This comes as the  carrier  reported 1st quarter earnings earlier this morning, with an increase in postpaid subscribers thanks to the iPhone along with the increase in unit sales for the storied device, but still recorded an overall loss of $255 million. As reported previously, the release of both the Design 4G and EVO 3D on each respective brand will enable  Sprint to compete with other prepaid brands, as no prepaid  MVNO  currently offers acc...
