6.3-inch handset spotted wearing prepaid carrier's branding

Following the gigantic smartphone's launch on AT&T this summer, it appears the Samsung Galaxy Mega (6.3) might be going prepaid with a launch on MetroPCSTmoNews has acquired a couple of shots of what appears to be a Metro-branded Mega, which it says will be SIM-locked to the MetroPCS network.
We've reviewed both the international and AT&T versions of the Mega and found that it makes more sense as a miniature tablet than an oversized phone. It's got a 6.3-inch 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1.5GB of RAM and 8 or 16GB of storage, expandable via microSD. The Galaxy Mega will reportedly launch on MetroPCS before the holidays.
