Robert Pattinson spotted 'getting wasted' at bar as Kristen Stewart hits the gym following her affair
Saturday’s night out is the first time the ‘Twilight’ star has been seen in public since the news that girlfriend Kristen Stewart had had an affair with married movie director Rupert Sanders.

Robert Pattinson was spotted hanging out with friends at a bar in Ojai, Calif.

The "Twilight" actor, who has been hiding out away from the spotlight since girlfriend Kristen Stewart confirmed she’d cheated on him with her married director, was spotted “getting wasted” at a bar in Ojai, Calif., over the weekend with a rowdy group of friends.
“Robert Pattinson and his friends are at The Deer Lodge geting wasted,” Twitter user Julie Demdam wrote late on Saturday night.
“Rob is with some panty droppers,” she added. “They’re on the dance floor dancing like crazy.”
Pattinson has reportedly been in Ojai for the last few weeks, crashing at Reese Witherspoon's home ever since photos surfaced of Stewart in a public makeout session with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders.
Demdam didn’t post any pictures of her night out with Pattinson, but
said things got crazy at the restaurant and dance lounge as she got
“blitzed” and sang along to a band that played a Nirvana cover.
“Awesome night in Ojai,” Demdam wrote. “Got to hang out with a rowdy bunch of Brits & one of them happened to be Edward.”
Stewart and Sanders both issued public apologies, and Pattinson reportedly asked his girlfriend of three years to move out of their shared $6 million home in Los Feliz.
Pattinson’s wild night is the first time he’s been spotted since the
split, and the actor seemed to be ready to take his mind off things.
“Had to leave the bar. The Brits were getting out of hand,” Demdam tweeted.
While there’s no word yet on who Pattinson was partying with, Demdam also revealed the actor was chatting up a group of girls.
“The girls were nice,” she wrote in a tweet she later deleted. “I stood next to them at the bar. He wasn’t drunk. Just taking in the scene. Smoked next to him outside.”
While Pattinson let loose at the bar, Stewart has been distracting herself in a healthier way — at the gym.
A source told the Daily News Stewart was seen sweating out her stress
at the Gold’s Gym in Venice, Calif., Tuesday, a week after her emotional
apology for her affair.
“She’s been seen a few times there with her new trainer,” the source said, adding Stewart’s been “working on core training and muscular endurance” — possibly in preparation for her newly won role in the film adaptation of “Lie Down in Darkness.”
The pair are slated to reunite in September at the MTV Movie Awards, but Pattinson will be back in the public eye before then.
He’s confirmed to attend the premiere of his film “Cosmopolis” next week in New York, and his rep has said he has not canceled any scheduled press events.
