Twitter for iPhone to get improved push notifications, updated icon


Twitter for iPhone is one of the most downloaded and installed applications in the App Store. So when a new version comes out, it’s kind of a big deal. Well, thanks to a bug in the App Store in iOS 6, 9to5Mac was able to spot an incoming update to the official Twitter application. The update appeared below “Version History” in the iOS 6 App Store, and showed the whole change log for the app. Version 4.3 has a long list of new features, like the new icon and major enhancements to push notifications.
Here’s the full change log, courtesy of 9to5Mac:
  • More interactive Tweet view experience: content previews, videos, images and more will now be shown within tweets containing links to “partner websites.”
  • Tweets about “selected events” will now be highlighted. Twitter will curate the relevant tweets and images
  • In the Connect tab, autocomplete improvements will be now be present. Twitter rolled out something similar to their official website last week.
  • Major push notifications enhancement: You will now be able to choose to receive push notifications when certain people tweet
  • Like in Tweetbot, you will now be able to receive unobtrusive Twitter notifications while you are using the app.
  • The Discover tab will now be able to alert users when new content is ready for perusal
  • Personalized Trends
  • You will now be able to tap a user’s avatar to be taken to their profile page
  • Improved performance
  • You will now be able to manually input your password when having authentication issues
  • Hungarian localization
  • Finally: the new Twitter logo will be featured on the icon
  • Also promised is a slew of other tweaks, more polish, and bug fixes
The app’s release notes were posted to the store on July 6, meaning that the release will likely be in the near future.

University of the people, Where can you transfer to?

Where can you transfer your credits earned at the University of the People?            I am a current student at the University of the People. There are many good and bad reviews referring to this institution, mine has been a great experience so far.      "Transferring Credits from UoPeople to Other Institutions:  The transferability of credits and credentials is at the complete discretion of the institution to which you seek to transfer, and may include a transfer fee" ( University of the People. 2018).      SO, far I have confirmed NYU to be able to transfer my credits to, as well as my local community colleges. Samsung's  Galaxy Note Edge  is available for purchase in the U.S. The handset is now on sale at  AT&T ,  Sprint  and  T-Mobile , with  Verizon , and U.S. Cellular set to follow. AT&T is listing the Galaxy Note Edge for $399 on a two-year contract. You can also buy the device outright for $945, or go with the carrier's Next plans, through which you can get the handset for $0 down (not including taxes), followed by monthly payments of $47.30 for 12 months, $39.42 for 18 months or $31.54 for 24 months. Over on T-Mobile, the Galaxy Note Edge is available for $870 outright or $0 down (again, not including sales tax) with monthly payments of $36.25 over 24 months.
